Problem
The Client needed sheet metal cabinets for the 2010 NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) Show. They had good 2-dimensional drawings.
Action
I created the sheet metal electronic files to take to the prototype house, who built the cabinets for the Client.
Result
The client now had CAD (Computer Aided Design) files which could be used to create sheet metal prototypes on either manual or automated sheet metal presses.
Project Notes
This design capability is not only helpful in creating sheet metal components and products, but also certain packaging applications.
